Dr. Rita SALAMON

| Associate lawyer |

She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University in January 2021. During her studies she worked as a trainee in a law firm specialising in corporate and real estate law. After graduating, she worked as a trainee lawyer in the same law firm. Her responsibilities included day-to-day client service, drafting contracts and deeds, providing legal support for corporate events, translation and research.

However, she’s always been interested in family law during her time at university and is now a part of our team as a result. While working for us, she developed an interest in non-contentious civil proceedings involving international child abduction. This is because she has always been concerned with the best interests of the child, which is why she wrote her undergraduate thesis on the role of the child in the proceedings. She also believes that it is important for parental rights to be restored in such cases. Thanks to her good command of the English language, she is able to maintain contact with clients from abroad.

In litigation concerning divorce and parental custody, where possible, she believes it is important for the parties to try to come closer to a solution that is acceptable to all and to reach an agreement. In order to achieve this, she supports the use of mediation. However, if a settlement is unachievable, she is dedicated to find an alternative solution, should that be a court procedure or non-contentious civil court or out-of court proceeding.

Her goal is to become a lawyer providing professional legal services to her clients in the various areas of family law.
